King Power is a Thai company regarded as the pioneer of the travel retail industry who had built and enjoyed a global reputation for more than 3 decades.
King Power is dedicated to relentlessly develop ourselves in order to enhance the potentials of the Thai tourism industry in all aspects.
King Power was granted by the Thai Government to open the first downtown duty-free retail shop in 1989, becoming Thailand’s pioneer in the industry. The Corporation has been recognised as a leading duty-free retailer in Asia and has earned the status as the “King of Duty Free”.
King Power later obtained a concession to operate duty-free retail business at Suvarnabhumi Airport and was commissioned to manage all commercial areas within the airport. Further, King Power granted permission to expand operations to include Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Hat Yai international airports, starting in 2006 to the present day.

Received permission to operate a duty-free shop, under luxury products category, at Passenger Terminal 1, Chek Lap Kok Airport of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China.

Began to undertake management responsibility of King Power Mahanakhon, consisting of hotels, restaurants, viewpoint, and the 5th downtown duty-free shop.
