King Power seeks the ultimate music champions
in the final round of THE POWER BAND 2023 Season 3,
a national level music band competition
September 22, 2023 – The final round of THE POWER BAND 2023 Season 3 has kicked off to unleash the power of possibilities in a national level music band competition with outstanding quality. Music lovers are invited to showcase their skills and unleash their music power in their own style. Organized by King Power Thai Power, College of Music, Mahidol University, and six leading music labels namely Muzik Move, LOVEiS Entertainment, Small Room, What The Duck, Warner Music Thailand, and XOXO Entertainment, the venue aims to support new music talents in Thailand. In the final round, there are 30 bands from five regions participating – 15 bands in Class A (secondary school), and 15 bands in Class B (public). They will be competing to win honorary trophies and prizes worth 1.5 million baht in total, as well as an opportunity to release their own singles. The final round is attended by King Power CEO Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, President of Mahidol University Professor Banchong Mahaisavariya, Mahidol University Deputy Director for Administration Assistant Professor Krit Buranavitayawut, and honorable guests, at Aksara King Power.
King Power CEO Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha said that King Power has actively supported Thai people’s music potential through a national level music band competition THE POWER BAND, which is now in its third year. Over the years, Thai musicians’ dedication and skills have been clearly demonstrated in this venue, especially Thai youths who can benefit from the opportunities and possibilities from this venue to further grow on the path of music. THE POWER BAND is hoped to help them reach their full potential, improve their skills, and enrich their experiences.
President of Mahidol University Professor Banchong Mahaisavariya said that THE POWER BAND is a significant music phenomenon in the country with a unique character. It is widely recognized for its quality among music experts. This year, the competition has been intensified with a special activity for finalists, THE POWER BAND MUSIC CAMP 2023, which helped enhance their skills through sessions with top experts in various topics, such as how to improve singing and music playing, playing as a band, songwriting, concert management, using digital platforms to promote music, and becoming an idol, all of which could help the finalists in the final round.

The event ends with a mini concert from famous pop bands TATTOO COLOUR and SERIOUS BACON who showcase their voices at THE POWER BAND 2023 Season 3.
