Project Highlight
KING POWER CITY BOUTIQUE, ONE BANGKOK
The company places paramount importance on design approaches aligned with the concept of Sustainability. This commitment not only reflects environmental responsibility but also demonstrates a dedication to the quality of life for both customers utilizing the services and King Power employees. We implement comprehensive sustainable design principles across multiple dimensions to create interior architecture that is genuinely aesthetic and eco-friendly.

1. Sustainable Material Selection
The project involves the selection of materials sourced from renewable origins, such as certified planted forests (FSC-certified wood), while simultaneously avoiding materials that emit hazardous chemicals, specifically Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). This is intended to prevent adverse health effects on users and enhance the indoor air quality of the premises.
2. Energy Efficiency
The interior design is engineered to maximize natural daylight access for users through careful spatial planning and the strategic positioning of walls, furniture, and fenestrations. This includes the partial selection of translucent materials to channel natural light into the interior space, thereby minimizing reliance on artificial lighting. Furthermore, high-energy-efficiency electrical equipment and air conditioning systems are utilized to ensure long-term energy reduction.

3. Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ)
The design incorporates enhanced ventilation, minimizes noise pollution, and utilizes health-safe finishing materials. The focus is to effectively create an environment that promotes the physical and mental well-being of the users.
4. Design for Adaptability and Longevity
The design is intended to accommodate future functional changes, incorporating elements such as Modular Furniture and flexible spatial arrangements that support diverse functions. This approach significantly minimizes the need for future renovations, thereby substantially reducing waste from fit-out work.

5. Sustainable Furniture and Furnishings
The selection involves utilizing furniture from local manufacturers, incorporating natural or environmentally certified materials. This strategy not only mitigates the carbon footprint associated with transportation but also actively supports a sustainable circular economy.
6. Well-being Design
The design of the flooring, ceilings, and retail facades utilizes light color palettes to evoke a sense of relaxation. Additionally, it incorporates free-flowing, curved lines to convey the forms commonly found in nature.
The strategic placement of openings and wall intervals allows customers to view the continuous flow of the retail space, thereby creating a sensation of openness and comfort. Furthermore, vibrant colors are utilized in specific zones to stimulate interest, evoke a sense of playfulness, and effectively reduce stress within the environment.
KING POWER CITY BOUTIQUE therefore stands as an exemplary design, demonstrating a seamless integration of aesthetic interior architecture, efficient spatial planning, and the concept of sustainable development. This project clearly underscores a commitment to the quality of life for customers, users, and King Power employees, while also showcasing a long-term dedication to global environmental stewardship.
