Management Strategy

The company places great importance on waste management in strict compliance with regulations and laws, including the Public Health Act B.E. 2535 and its amendments. Accordingly, it has established waste management guidelines for retail operations, focusing on legal compliance under the Public Health Act while aiming to enhance resource efficiency in alignment with the 3Rs principles (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle) throughout the business value chain.

The company has implemented three projects focused on responsible waste management in line with ESG principles, encompassing awareness-building, monitoring, and recycling waste segregation. The primary objective is to foster awareness and drive behavioral change among employees and customers toward proper and sustainable waste disposal through training sessions, educational campaigns, and clearly designated waste segregation points. The initiatives consist of three key components: (1) raising awareness and improving waste management practices; (2) assessing the accuracy of waste disposal in a pilot area (Pattaya) to inform improvements and scale-up; and (3) promoting recycling by segregating waste for resale or donation to reduce resource loss. Progress is regularly measured to track behavioral changes and project success.

Promoting Sustainable Consumption of Local Food and Reducing Food Waste
This project aims to promote a “Conscious & Circular Food System” by integrating local sourcing with efficient kitchen management, menu development, and waste management practices under the concept of “From Local Sourcing to Food Waste Management.”
